Ice hockey team apparel for the rink, the locker room and the glass

High-school hockey in Central Ohio is club-run: parent boards, booster treasurers and volunteer managers do the ordering, not the athletic office. That changes how gear gets bought — one organized order, one link for families, and no one fronting money. Strive-To-Be outfits club hockey programs, youth associations and adult leagues with warm-ups, locker-room tees, beanies and parent gear, printed and embroidered in Delaware, Ohio.

What hockey programs actually order

  • Team warm-ups — fleece hoodies, quarter-zips and joggers for the walk from the parking lot to the locker room at 5:45 a.m. Embroidered left chest, name and number on the sleeve.
  • Locker-room and dryland tees — cotton-poly or performance tees under the pads and for off-ice workouts; two or three per player.
  • Beanies and knit hats — the one item every hockey family buys. Embroidered logo, program colors, sized for players and parents alike.
  • Coach and manager apparel — polos, quarter-zips and jackets for the bench staff and the volunteers running the door.
  • Parent and fan gear — "Hockey Mom," "Hockey Dad," program hoodies and hats through an online team store. Rinks are cold; parents buy layers.
  • Tournament and playoff gear — short-run full-color DTF for names, numbers and "district champs" tees when the season goes long.

Game jerseys, socks and equipment are specialty items we don't stock. Everything worn off the ice, we do.

A sample hockey package

What a club program typically orders before the first game. Every package is quoted for your roster and artwork — there's no public price list, and you'll always talk to a real person.

  • 2 × dryland tees, one-color chest print
  • 1 × fleece hoodie, embroidered left chest, printed back, number on the sleeve
  • 1 × fleece jogger, printed left leg
  • 1 × embroidered beanie
  • Optional: parent hoodie and beanie added at checkout in the team store

Winter timeline: order by mid-October

Ohio high-school club hockey drops the puck in early November, with tryouts and ice time starting in October. To have warm-ups and beanies for the first game, get artwork and rough roster numbers to us by mid-October:

  • Now – mid-October: send your logo, colors and approximate roster. Mockup and quote within a few business days.
  • Mid-October: approve artwork. A team store opens now and runs about two weeks so every family orders their own sizes after tryouts settle.
  • Late October – mid-November: production, sorted by player, delivered to the rink or picked up in Delaware by arrangement.
  • First game: the bench matches and so does the glass.

Youth associations and adult leagues run on their own calendars — tell us your first ice date and we'll be straight with you about what's realistic.

Team stores built for club-run programs

When a parent board is doing the ordering, a team store is the difference between one volunteer collecting checks and nobody collecting anything. Families order online in their own sizes and pay at checkout; the club never fronts a dollar. Run it as a straight store at your quoted pricing, or as a fundraiser: a set amount from every eligible item — $5 standard — goes back to the program when the store closes. For a club paying its own ice time, that's real money. Launch a hockey team store →

Why Ohio hockey programs print with Strive-To-Be

  • Local. Delaware, Ohio — pickup available, problems fixed in person.
  • Built for the cold. We'll steer you to heavyweight fleece and knit hats that hold up to a rink, a wet bag and a January bus.
  • One contact. One email, one person, one answer — for the head coach, the board president and the parent running the store.
  • Sorted by player. Names, numbers and sizes by athlete, sorted before delivery — not by a volunteer at midnight.
