Basketball apparel for the gym, the bench and the bleachers

Basketball has the longest bench season in Ohio — tryouts in late October, games into March, and an AAU calendar that never really stops. Strive-To-Be outfits high-school, middle-school and club programs across Central Ohio with practice gear, shooting shirts, warm-ups and fan spirit wear, all printed in Delaware, Ohio.

What basketball programs actually order

  • Shooting shirts — lightweight performance tees or long sleeves worn over the jersey during warm-ups. One-color prints keep them sharp; reversible color schemes for home and away are popular.
  • Practice tees and reversible practice jerseys — two or three per player so the scrimmage split is easy and the laundry isn't.
  • Warm-up hoodies, quarter-zips and joggers — the walk-in uniform for away games. Embroidered left chest looks the part on camera.
  • Coaches' polos and quarter-zips — bench staff, managers and the athletic trainer on the same order.
  • Spirit wear — student-section tees, parent hoodies, program hats and "Basketball Mom" gear through an online team store.
  • AAU and travel club gear — tournament-weekend hoodies and player packs for spring and summer teams.

Game uniforms are a specialty item — ask when you request a quote and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit for your timeline.

A sample basketball package

What a varsity and JV program typically orders before the first scrimmage. Every package is quoted for your roster and artwork — no public price list, and you'll always talk to a real person.

  • 2 × performance practice tees, one-color chest print, player numbers on back
  • 1 × long-sleeve shooting shirt, one-color print
  • 1 × fleece warm-up hoodie, embroidered left chest
  • Optional: fleece jogger, printed left leg

Winter timeline: order by mid-October

Ohio high-school basketball tryouts begin at the end of October and the first games follow within weeks. To have shooting shirts and warm-ups for opening night, get artwork and rough roster numbers to us by mid-October:

  • Now – mid-October: send your logo, colors and approximate roster. Mockup and quote come back within a few business days.
  • Mid-October: approve artwork. A team store opens now and runs about two weeks — long enough for tryout results to settle before it closes.
  • Late October – mid-November: production, sorted by player, delivered, or picked up in Delaware by arrangement.
  • Opening night: the bench matches.

Rosters change after tryouts. Team stores handle that better than bulk orders: players who make the team order, players who don't never have a shirt with their name on it.

Team stores that raise money for the program

Parents, students and fans order online in their own size and pay at checkout; the booster club never fronts a dollar or collects a check. Set a fundraising margin on spirit wear and the difference goes back to the program when the store closes. Launch a basketball team store →
