Volleyball apparel for the gym, the bench and the club season that never ends

Volleyball runs on two calendars in Central Ohio: high-school girls in the fall, then club from December through May, with boys' and sand programs filling the gaps. Strive-To-Be outfits school programs, club teams and rec leagues with practice tees, warm-ups, long sleeves and fan gear, printed and embroidered in Delaware, Ohio.

What volleyball programs actually order

  • Practice tees — lightweight performance tees, two or three per player, one-color chest print. A set by day of the week is common for club teams.
  • Long-sleeve warm-up tops — the pre-match look during serve-and-pass. Performance long sleeve, one-color print, number on the back.
  • Warm-up jackets and pants — the walk-in for tournaments and away matches. Embroidered left chest, name or number on the sleeve.
  • Team hoodies and crewnecks — for the bench between sets and the bus home. Fleece, embroidered or printed.
  • Coaches' polos and quarter-zips — head coach, assistants and the JV staff on one artwork approval.
  • Fan and parent gear — "Volleyball Mom," "Volleyball Dad," student-section tees and program hoodies through an online team store. Volleyball parents travel; they buy the hoodie.
  • Club and tournament packs — player packs, tournament-weekend tees and a parent hoodie for the December-to-May grind.

Match jerseys and spandex are a specialty item. Ask when you request a quote and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit for your timeline.

A sample volleyball package

What a varsity and JV program typically orders before the first match. Every package is quoted for your roster and artwork — no public price list, and you'll always talk to a real person.

  • 2 × performance practice tees, one-color chest print
  • 1 × long-sleeve warm-up top, one-color print, number on back
  • 1 × fleece hoodie, embroidered left chest, printed back
  • Optional: warm-up jacket and pant, embroidered; parent tee added at checkout in the team store

Timeline: fall for school, December for club

Fall (high school). Ohio high-school volleyball practices open in early August and matches start within two weeks, so July is the ordering month — artwork and rough roster numbers by July 1, a two-week team store in July, delivery before the first practice. It's next season now; senior-night and tournament tees mid-season move fast because the artwork already exists.

Club (December–May). Club tryouts run in November and the first tournaments hit in December or January. Get artwork and roster numbers in by mid-November so player packs land before the first travel weekend. Spring and summer programs order in March.

  • Six weeks out: send your logo, colors and approximate roster. Mockup and quote within a few business days.
  • Four weeks out: approve artwork. A team store opens and runs about two weeks — long enough for tryout results to settle.
  • Two weeks out: production, sorted by player, delivered or picked up in Delaware by arrangement.
  • First match: the bench matches.

Team stores that raise money for the program

Players, parents and the student section order online in their own sizes and pay at checkout; the booster club never fronts a dollar or collects a check. Run it as a straight store at your quoted pricing, or as a fundraiser: a set amount from every eligible item — $5 standard — goes back to the program when the store closes. Club directors use it the same way — one link to every family, sorted by player on delivery. Launch a volleyball team store →
