Cross country apparel for the summer miles, the fall course and the family at the finish

Cross country is the sport that trains all summer and races all fall, in whatever the weather is doing that Saturday. The gear is simple and it gets worn a lot: a tee for the summer miles, a long sleeve for October, a hoodie for the bus, and a parent shirt for the family standing at the two-mile mark. Strive-To-Be outfits Ohio high-school, middle-school and club cross country programs, printed and embroidered in Delaware, Ohio.

What cross country programs actually order

  • Summer training tees — lightweight performance tees, two or three per runner, one-color chest print. Ordered in July, worn through hundreds of miles.
  • Long-sleeve performance tops — the October layer. One-color print, team color, easy to peel off at the line.
  • Warm-up hoodies and joggers — the pre-race and post-race uniform. Fleece, embroidered left chest, name on the sleeve.
  • Team beanies — for the November regional and the frost at 8 a.m.
  • Coaches' quarter-zips and jackets — head coach and assistants on one artwork approval.
  • Parent and fan gear — "XC Mom," "XC Dad," program hoodies for the family that drives to every invitational, through an online team store.
  • Districts, regionals and state — short-run full-color DTF for "state qualifier" tees and the senior-night shirt when the season goes long.

Racing singlets and split shorts are a specialty item. Ask when you request a quote and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit for your timeline.

A sample cross country package

What a high-school program typically orders before the first invitational. Every package is quoted for your roster and artwork — no public price list, and you'll always talk to a real person.

  • 2 × performance training tees, one-color chest print
  • 1 × long-sleeve performance top, one-color print
  • 1 × fleece warm-up hoodie, embroidered left chest, printed back
  • Optional: fleece jogger; embroidered beanie; parent hoodie added at checkout in the team store

Timeline: order by July 1 for the summer miles

Fall (high school and middle school). Ohio cross country practices open in early August and the first invitationals are in late August, but the team actually starts running together in June. To have training tees for summer conditioning and warm-ups for the first meet, artwork and rough roster numbers need to be in by July 1 — a two-week team store in July, delivery before the first official practice. It's mid-season now; a long-sleeve add-on or a state-qualifier tee can still move fast because the artwork exists.

Club and summer running programs order in May. Indoor and winter training gear orders in November.

  • Six weeks out: send your logo, colors and approximate roster. Mockup and quote within a few business days.
  • Four weeks out: approve artwork. A team store opens and runs about two weeks.
  • Two weeks out: production, sorted by runner, delivered or picked up in Delaware by arrangement.
  • First meet: the tent matches.

Team stores that raise money for the program

Runners, parents and grandparents order online in their own sizes and pay at checkout; the booster club never fronts a dollar or collects a check. Run it as a straight store at your quoted pricing, or as a fundraiser: a set amount from every eligible item — $5 standard — goes back to the program when the store closes. For a program that pays its own way to invitationals, that's real. Launch a cross country team store →

Why Ohio cross country programs print with Strive-To-Be

  • Local. Delaware, Ohio — pickup available, problems fixed in person.
  • Fabrics that survive the miles. We'll steer you to performance tees that wick and hold a print through a summer of daily washes.
  • One contact. One email, one person, one answer — for the head coach, the AD or the booster president.
  • Small program, real order. Fifteen runners is a normal roster here, not a minimum problem.
