Track and field apparel for the biggest roster in the building

Track is the sport with eighty athletes, six events happening at once, and a meet that runs from a cold March morning into the evening. The gear has to work for the sprinter, the thrower and the distance kid — and the parent who's there for all of it. Strive-To-Be outfits Ohio high-school, middle-school and club track programs with meet-day tees, warm-ups and fan gear, printed and embroidered in Delaware, Ohio.

What track and field programs actually order

  • Meet-day and practice tees — lightweight performance tees, two or three per athlete, one-color chest print. With a roster this size, the print stays simple and the sorting is the job.
  • Warm-up hoodies and joggers — the layer that comes off at the line and goes back on at the tent. Fleece, embroidered left chest, name or event on the sleeve.
  • Long-sleeve performance tops — for the March meets when the wind comes across the infield.
  • Coaches' polos, quarter-zips and jackets — head coach and the event coaches on one artwork approval.
  • Team tent gear and fan wear — "Track Mom," program hoodies and blankets for the bleachers, through an online team store. Track meets are long; parents dress for them.
  • Districts, regionals and state — short-run full-color DTF for "state qualifier" tees and relay-team shirts when the season goes long.

Competition singlets and shorts are a specialty item. Ask when you request a quote and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit for your timeline.

A sample track and field package

What a high-school program typically orders before the first meet. Every package is quoted for your roster and artwork — no public price list, and you'll always talk to a real person.

  • 2 × performance tees, one-color chest print
  • 1 × long-sleeve performance top, one-color print
  • 1 × fleece warm-up hoodie, embroidered left chest, printed back
  • 1 × fleece jogger, printed left leg
  • Optional: event or name on the sleeve; parent hoodie added at checkout in the team store

Timeline: order by February 15 for spring

Outdoor (high school). Ohio high-school track practices open in late February and the first meets are in late March. To have warm-ups for the first cold meet, artwork and rough roster numbers need to be in by February 15 — a two-week team store in late February, production and delivery before the opener. Rosters are big and settle late; a team store means only the athletes who show up order, in their own sizes.

Indoor (December–February). Indoor track and club programs start in December. Order in November. Summer club and AAU programs order in May.

  • Six weeks out: send your logo, colors and approximate roster. Mockup and quote within a few business days.
  • Four weeks out: approve artwork. A team store opens and runs about two weeks.
  • Two weeks out: production, sorted by athlete, delivered or picked up in Delaware by arrangement.
  • First meet: the tent matches.

Team stores built for eighty athletes

A bulk order for a track roster means a size sheet with eighty lines and a coach guessing the rest. A team store means every athlete and every parent orders their own size and pays online; the booster club never fronts a dollar or collects a check. Run it as a straight store at your quoted pricing, or as a fundraiser: a set amount from every eligible item — $5 standard — goes back to the program when the store closes. With a roster this size, that adds up. Launch a track and field team store →

Why Ohio track programs print with Strive-To-Be

  • Local. Delaware, Ohio — pickup available, problems fixed in person.
  • Built for big rosters. Sorting eighty athletes by name and size is the part you never see and never have to do.
  • One contact. One email, one person, one answer — for the head coach, the AD or the booster president.
  • Performance fabrics that print clean. We know which poly blends take ink and which crack, and we'll tell you before you order.
